Ultraman, Zetton and King Joe
Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Sentai heroes have already been around since I was born.
I’m sure every Japanese boy has dreamed of being a hero at least once.
It seems that Ultraman is popular overseas, especially in China, where it has a passionate fan base.
My first introduction to Ultraman was “Ultraman 80”. I think it was the next series after Ultraman, Ultraseven, Return of Ultraman, Ultraman Ace, Ultraman Taro, and Ultraman Leo.
I don’t have the impression that I watched it in real time, I think my parents rented a video for me to watch.
I don’t remember the contents, but the pattern is almost the same in every episode.
A monster appears, a crisis occurs, one of the team members transforms into Ultraman and appears, and Ultraman defeats the monster.
It’s very simple and I think even children can understand it.
The other day, I saw a book about Zetton and King Joe at a bookstore.
When I saw it, I thought to myself, “Why did they choose Zedong and King Joe?
I understand that both of them are popular monsters, but their series and positioning are different.
Zetton appears in Ultraman and is the last enemy to defeat Ultraman.
King Joe appears in Ultraseven, and is a normal enemy who is defeated by Ultraseven. I think.
I know it’s popular, but I don’t think it’s a combination that should be marketed as two signs.
Zetton and King Joe were used as nicknames for characters in the delinquent manga “Worst” and “Close” that were popular some time ago.
I wonder if the editor was young and chose it on the spur of the moment.
The combination of Zetton and King Joe is not Is it not something that connoisseurs nod at, but something that light users can easily get into?
I think the unit price of the book was too high for that.
Anyway, I picked it up and looked at it.
I see that both Zetton and King Joe have been remade a lot in the 2000s.
There were a lot of Zetton and King Joe in forms I didn’t know.
So maybe it’s a good thing I don’t care about the things I do care about!
I like Ultraman and bought a newspaper about 10 years ago.
It was published in commemoration of the 45th anniversary.
You should check it out on eBay.

If the response is good, I would like to sell many Ultraman dolls next time.
